Qigong is a traditional Chinese practice that involves coordination of breath, movement and awareness for the purpose of strengthening and stretching the body and improving coordination and balance. Combining the session with mindfulness promotes mental as well as physical health.

Boxercise is one of the most effective forms of cross-training available, combining boxing and exercise in a fun, stress-busting activity without anyone actually getting hit.

Gentle Pilates on Tuesdays is ideal for beginners, the mature exerciser or anyone living with chronic low back pain. This effective exercise system focuses on enhancing body alignment and improving general movement through strengthening and stabilising the core muscles. By emphasising controlled movements and the mind-body connection, it promotes overall physical and mental wellness.
The morning class runs from 9 - 10am and the evening class from 6.30pm - 7.30pm every Tuesday.
Communi-Tea & Biscuits
Our regular Tuesday ‘Communi-Tea & Biscuits’ afternoons are designed to get people in the community together to chat, laugh, offer support and, of course, enjoy a nice cup of tea (or another beverage of your choice). It’s about embracing the power of being together.

A Journey to Headstand - a Yoga Workshop
A journey to headstand is a 3-hour workshop that will teach you how to go into a headstand, approaching it first and foremost as a forearm stand, enabling you to build up the strength to do this posture safely.
This is a strong class taught in stages finished with coffee tea and snacks which are all provided. Previous yoga experience is ideal. £25 per place.

Painters Forstal Spring Fayre - 7th April
Calling all collectors, up-cyclers and crafters – come and sell your items at our Spring Collectors Fayre at the Community Hall on 7th April 2024. There will also be a Garden in a Teacup competition along with refreshments available to buy.
