Communi-Tea Police Surgery

Effective policing isn’t just about enforcing the law but is about providing a positive and approachable presence that engages with a community.  It was lovely to meet our local community police officer, Gary Morris, at our Communi-Tea & Biscuit event last week, especially given that most of us weren’t even aware that we had one.  Being able to put a face to the role helps to foster trust, communication, and a sense of security among the villagers.  Gary intends to hold regular police surgeries during our Communi-Tea & Biscuits events to help identify and solve any problems facing our rural community.  The first will be on August 1st between 1pm – 3pm.  Please do join us for the usual cuppa and natter, especially if you have any needs or concerns that Gary might be able to help with.  We have a private area should you wish to speak to him in confidence.

Together we can create a stronger and safer community.
